POLL: Predict The Golden Globes!

The Golden Globe Awards air tonight 5PM PST on NBC. Although, the Golden Globes this year have a couple of outright ridiculous nominations, some of them are on par with the rest of Oscar race. The King’s Speech leads the nominees this year with 7, followed by The Fighter  and The Social Network with 6 each. The Globes are put on by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and they tend to have a much different taste than the Academy. In the last twenty years the winner of the Best Motion Picture – Drama (and in 2002’s case Musical or Comedy) has only gone on to win Best Picture 11 times. The Best Director winner has coincided with The Academy 13/20, Actor 12/20, Actress 16/20 (if you count Kate Winslet winning supporting at the GG and lead at the Oscars), Supporting Actor 12/20 and Supporting Actress 11/20.

After the cut I’ve got polls set up for all the motion picture categories.  Also, while you’re at it, if you could take a second to vote for Cinema Fanatic at the 2011 Total Movie Blog Awards, I’d be ever so grateful.
