For the most part this is exactly what I predicted. Really there are only two shocking things about this list:
- Diane Kruger over Mélanie Laurent for best supporting actress from Inglourious Basterds. As much as I love Kruger, Laurent’s performance was far superior.
- An Education for best ensemble over Up In The Air. The latter film had three acting nominations, more nominations than any other film. One would think that would lead to an ensemble nomination, no? Very odd.
