Anne Hathaway Set To Announce Oscar Noms
She will join Academy President Tom Sherak to announce this year’s Oscar nominations on Feb. 2.
The two will only announce ten of the 24 categories (Picture, Director, Acting (4), Screenplay (2) and I’m unsure on the remaining two).
The press conference will be held at 8:30 a.m. ET at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills and aired live.
I know I intend to wake up early (ugh 5a.m.) and watch the announcement. I remember watching them last year and I swear I felt a world-wide gasp as The Reader was announced over The Dark Knight.
I’ll try my best to get all 24 nominations on here ASAP. I think the Academy’s website posts all of them as soon as the press conference is over.
Is anyone else planning on watching the announcement live?
