Jesse Eisenberg Named Best Actor of the Year By The National Board of Review
Posted by Marya E. Gates
The National Board of Review is one of the first major precursors of the Awards Season. While their winners don’t necessarily go on to win the Oscar, they almost always get nominated. So at the very least, these awards are a good look at some solid performances, and films, that will probably be receiving an Oscar nomination in a few months.

Eisenberg deserves the accolade. Superb performance in the role of a lifetime.
Marwencol missing from the documentaries list is disappointing.
Congrats to Jesse! Certainly a well-deserved honor. Hopefully an Oscars nod will come next (crosses fingers)
Loved Jesse in the Social Network and loved the movie. Like The Town getting best ensemble – really enjoyed it – better than I expected.
Well what can I say about Toy Story 3 – my DH started to cry. 🙂
Looking forward to see a few more on the list – especially want to see The King’s Speech.
