Wonderful quote. We still have rock and roll and they will have space to themselves in a week or so. Sigh.
I remember lying on the lawn watching sputnik go overhead. I didn’t understand the significance but obviously my brother did – he ended up in the aerospace field.
Even my worst students loved this movie. One student who refused to do any work whatsover answered the question about what the theme was. He really understood it. These were alternative ed students and this movie kept them spellbound.
What a great story of focus and curiosity. Of following dreams.
