Movie Quote of the Day – Days of Heaven, 1978 (dir. Terrence Malick)

Linda: This girl, she didn’t know where she was goin’ or what she was gonna do. She didn’t have no money on her. Maybe she’d meet up with a character. I was hopin’ things would work out for her; she was a good friend of mine.

  1. this film is truly so beautiful, it is unbelievable really. I have fallen in love with Malick’s style and perspective. and I adore this scene and this quote. perfect choice, marya!

  2. The shot seems inspired in “Modern Times”. I think they watch a film by Chaplin in the farmer’s house.
By the way, a big Malick fan like you doesn’t write about his Tree?
