this film is truly so beautiful, it is unbelievable really. I have fallen in love with Malick’s style and perspective. and I adore this scene and this quote. perfect choice, marya!
The shot seems inspired in “Modern Times”. I think they watch a film by Chaplin in the farmer’s house.
By the way, a big Malick fan like you doesn’t write about his Tree?
