I spent the bulk of my August re-watching all of Sex and the City from the beginning, plus the movie (and watching the sequel for the first time). You can find a very in depth documentation of that re-watch here. I did, however, also watch some movies. Also want to remind readers that the pilot episode of Sex and The City is directed by Susan Seidelman and that women were at the helm of most of episodes from the first two seasons.
Every Tuesday for the next 14 weeks TCM will be airing Mark Cousins’ new docu-series Women Make Film + 100 films by 100 different women to accompany it. I am SO EXCITED for this and you can bet a lot of my viewing for the next few months will come from that programming. You can see everything that will be airing here.
