New Posters For 127 Hours, Casino Jack, The King’s Speech and London Boulevard
These are all films I cannot wait to see. Especially London Boulevard, the directorial debut of William Monahan, who won an Academy Award for his adapted screenplay of 2006’s The Departed.
54th Annual BFI London Film Festival Announces Line-up
We already knew that Never Let Me Go would open on October 13th and 127 Hours would close the festival on October 28th, but now we’ve got the whole line-up!

Auteur of the Week: Danny Boyle
Danny Boyle has been a favorite of mine since I first saw Trainspotting about nine years ago. I have to thank Ewan McGregor for turning me on to Boyle. I loved Ewan in Moulin Rouge! and decided to see everything I could that he’d been in. This included Danny Boyle’s first three films. I think they were some of the stranger films I’d seen up to that point in my life.
