New Poster Trio For “Never Let Me Go”

These are flipping fantastic.

Trailer and Poster For Aronofsky’s “Black Swan”

This looks incredible. So much crazy. I love pretty much everyone in the cast: Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis, Vincent Cassel, Barbara Hershey and Winina Ryder.

New Poster for Ben Affleck’s “The Town”

Finally an American poster for Affleck’s upcoming crime thriller. I posted the French version of the poster a week or so ago. I think I like it better than this one, but it’s nice to get another one. I am REALLY looking forward to this film. It’s got such a great cast, if Affleck manages to capture the same manic-yet-tense energy that his debut effort, 2007’s Gone Baby Gone, had then we’re all in for a real treat.

Poster for Julie Taymor’s “The Tempest”

Big thanks to Rope of Silicon for this poster. I am so excited for this film. I loved Taymor’s 2007 musical Across The Universe and I pretty much love everyone in this cast. The film will have its premiere at the Venice Film Festival in September and will then be released in theaters on December 10.

Posters for Alejandro González Iñárritu’s “Biutiful”

I have only seen one other film from Iñárritu, 2006’s Babel. I hated it. A lot. However, critics loved it and it was nominated for several Academy Awards including Best Director and Best Picture. The reaction to Biutiful when it premiered at Cannes earlier this year was extremely positive and much praise was given to Javier Bardem’s performance. I love Bardem, so I suppose I will give this film a chance.

Trailer, Poster and Stills for Julian Schnabel’s “Miral”

The film stars Freida Pinto, Willam Dafoe, Hiam Abbass and Vanessa Redgrave. It’s an adaptation of Italo-Palestinian Rula Jebreal’s book about the real-life Palestinian woman Hind Husseini, who started the Dar Al-Tifl orphanage in Jerusalem in the wake of the 1948 partition of Palestine and the creation of the state of Israel. The story will span the years 1948-94. It’s being released  by The Weinstein Co. on December 3.

“Howl” Poster/Trailer

Loving everything about this film so far. Howl is such a fabulous poem and Franco looks really great as Ginsberg.

You can see the trailer here at the A.V. Club. It has a very I’m Not There kind of vibe to it. The film is set to open on September 24th, 2010.

Secretariat Trailer

I wasn’t too excited for this film until I saw the trailer this weekend when I saw Toy Story 3 (my thoughts on that film will come soon, I swear). After seeing the trailer, though, October 8th cannot come soon enough.

New Posters for “Inception”

This is the movie I’ve been waiting for all year. It also topped the reader poll I posted this week of the most anticipated movie of the year. The cast list is to die for. The trailer is phenomenal. And the posters have been amazing thus far. But these two new posters are probably my favorite. A big thanks to CinemaBlend for these posters.

Second poster after the cut.
