Trailer and Poster for Fincher’s The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

This looks…interesting. I love Fincher so I’ll put aside my dislike of Daniel Craig and see this in theaters for sure.

New Trailer For Woody Allen’s “Midnight In Paris”

Loved this trailer. I like how the Owen Wilson character is clearly the one Allen himself would usually play when he was younger (just look at his costume!) Michael Sheen being a prick? Yes, please. I am just too excited for this film.

You can watch the trailer here at Yahoo! movies.

New Trailer For Mike Mills’ “Beginners”

I saw the names Ewan McGregor, Christopher Plummer and Mélanie Laurent attached and I was interested. Then I saw the dog in the trailer and now I’m sold.

83 Screencaps From Terrence Malick’s “The Tree of Life” Trailer

This trailer was everything I wanted it to be and more. Emmanuel Lubezki’s cinematography is as lush and beautiful as ever. If this trailer is any sign of what this film is going to be like, Malick seems to be at his philosophical best. Here’s a gallery of some beautiful screencaps from the trailer.

Trailer and Poster for Terrence Malick’s “The Tree of Life”

This movie. I am looking forward to this movie like no other. This trailer is beautiful and this poster is nothing short of awe-inspiring.

Trailer For Julie Taymor’s “The Tempest”

This film is most definitely going to be a feast for the eyes. This is one of my favorite of Shakespeare’s plays. I think Taymor tends to make films that people either love to death or hate with a passion. All I know is I loved 2007’s Across The Universe and I cannot wait for this film.

If the embedded video doesn’t work, you can also watch the trailer here at Apple TrailersThe Tempest is due in theaters on December 10th.

Trailer For The Coen Brothers’ Remake of “True Grit”

I recently saw the original film, for which John Wayne won his only acting Oscar, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m usually pretty wary of Hollywood remakes, but I almost universally love Coen brothers films, so I’m hopeful for this. Also, I have lots of love for Jeff Bridges, Matt Damon and Josh Brolin and Roger Deakins’ cinematography looks to be as lush as ever.

You can watch the trailer here on iTunes. The film is due in theaters on Decemeber 25th.

Trailer for Colin Firth’s “The King’s Speech”

The film recently won the Audience Award at the Toronto International Film Festival. This film looks really lush. Danny Cohen’s cinematography looks like it could be a real contender at the Oscars this year, not to mention the costume design and set decoration. Just from the trailer alone it looks like Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush are both locks for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor nominations, respectively. I’m so glad Firth is finally getting to do films that are worthy of his talent.

You can watch the trailer here at Yahoo! Movies. The film is set for a November 26th release by the Weinstein Company.

Trailer for Angelina Jolie/Johnny Depp Film “The Tourist”

I am ever so excited for this movie because I have major love for both Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp. Her accent in the trailer is a little off, but Depp looks to be on the top of his game. Plus, we get some bonus Paul Bettany, Rufus Sewell and Timothy Dalton thrown in for good measure.

You can watch the trailer here at Yahoo! Movies. The Tourist is set to open on December 10th.

Trailer and Poster For Aronofsky’s “Black Swan”

This looks incredible. So much crazy. I love pretty much everyone in the cast: Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis, Vincent Cassel, Barbara Hershey and Winina Ryder.
