Cinema Fanatic’s Favorite Fifteen Films of 2019
I honestly cannot believe this is the end of a decade. The 2010s have been a very transformative decade for me in almost every way possible. The one thing that has stayed with me is my love of cinema. I always have ups and downs with contemporary cinema, but this year I found several films that really spoke to me. March 2019 in Films
March was a pretty crazy month for me. As you may have seen on Twitter, I announced that I left my job at TCM to take a job at Netflix. This meant closing down my apartment in Atlanta and getting set up in LA. It also meant I had a lot of time in my apartment – which led to an increased amount of viewing in March over February’s pitiful number. There were some new releases I had hoped to catch before the month ended that I did not make it to, but there’s always April! As always, after the cut you can see all the films I watched in March, as well as a handful of favorites.
March 2017 in Films
So March was another month with low new-to-me viewing numbers (although I did much better than last March!) This was partially due to attending SXSW (for work, not for movie watch; though I did get a few in) and also I fell down a Frasier re-watch rabbit hole. I watched eight whole season of Frasier last month!!! It really holds up. Anyways, as always you can see everything I watched below , as well as some favorites.
